Comprehensive understanding of the Asia-Pacific International Arbitration Tribunal

information of the co-president

The APIAC Japan Committee (full name: Asia-Pacific International Arbitration Court Japan Committee) was approved for establishment in Osaka, Japan on August 1, 2025. This marks the formal establishment of the Asia-Pacific International Arbitration Court's global arbitration system in Japan, adding significant support to commercial cooperation and dispute resolution in the Asia-Pacific region. Osaka, as a core economic and legal hub in the Kansai region, is gradually developing into a new highland for international legal services connecting East Asia and the world. Against this backdrop, the establishment of the APIAC Japan Committee aims to leverage Japan's mature legal system and its own professional arbitration services, collaborating with the global arbitration institutions of the Asia-Pacific International Arbitration Court to jointly dedicate itself to the efficient resolution of commercial disputes in the Asia-Pacific region. When the assets of one international commercial entity are located in Japan, arbitration can be conducted through the APIAC Japan Committee to ensure the efficient progress of preservation or enforcement proceedings.
